One of my longest-running bodies of work is a series of formal abstract pieces that use form and depth, color and positive and negative space, light and shadow, and a variety of material to address concepts of consumerism such as product design and obsolescence.

Enuncion
This was a fake product that I created in 2002 when I was in graduate school. The iPod had come out around the same time, and I wanted to create a parody product that would solve communication issues by correcting accents. The device is a bit of a Foucaultian (that's actually a real word!) device that controls your jaw and tougue. The project was comprised of a physical model, an original logo, 3D models and videos executed in Cinema 4D, and an interactive environment that explored the "product."
Auto Glyphs
Ongoing collage series started in 2012 consisting of images cut out from automotive advertising.
